Welcome to Senesh. I’m so glad you’re here.
It’s been my privilege to serve this community as Head of School for the last 30 years. In that time, I have watched Senesh grow into the vibrant and diverse community of Jewish families that it is today, where students from 30 zip codes and all walks of life learn with joy, live with conviction, and find their community.
When you walk through the halls at Senesh, what stands out is the joy. From Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, our students cultivate a genuine curiosity in the world around them, in Jewish texts, in STEM, literature, Hebrew language, history and art. Learning is a joyful inquiry.
One of the most special things about our community is how parents, teachers and staff work together in true partnership to create an exceptional day school experience where students flourish. In that sense, we are more than a school but an extended family.
I believe our children deserve a chance to grow up in a place where they feel safe to be their full selves and can develop deep and meaningful Jewish identities. The love, security, joy, and connection they experience at Senesh can fuel them for a lifetime of resilience, strength, and activism. And it does. Our students and alumni are my greatest source of optimism for a better future.
I hope you will come visit us and see the magic of Senesh for yourself. Our doors are open. Thank you for your interest in our school.
Nicole Nash,
Head of School
