We are excited to announce our newly formed community engagement partnership with the Brooklyn chapter of IAC – Israeli American Council.
In an effort to expand authentic, high-quality Israeli programming at Senesh and to attract more Brooklyn-based Israeli families to our School, we felt IAC Brooklyn would be an ideal partner. IAC Brooklyn will now be able to run all of its local programming in one location – at Hannah Senesh. We will offer IAC Brooklyn use of our facility and resources to run their operations.
The partnership provides both organizations with new resources and capabilities and mutual access to our like-minded communities.
IAC will be offering new and exciting Israeli programs to Senesh families and our Brooklyn community beginning with our kickoff event: Brooklyn Shavuot on Sunday, June 12th.
In addition to holiday events, IAC will offer its popular Keshet class as part of our afterschool program this fall. IAC will also be hosting special Shabbat events and will offer Keshetot for children 0-3 as part of our weekly Sundays@Senesh program.
A core component of the Senesh mission is to BUILD COMMUNITY. Our students and families cultivate meaningful connections within the school, with Israel, and in the wider world. This partnership exemplifies our School’s commitment to connect in positive and meaningful ways with ground-breaking organizations like IAC.
About the IAC: Headquartered in Los Angeles, the IAC is committed to building an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens our next generations, the American Jewish community, and the State of Israel. The IAC strives to achieve these goals through programs and events for all ages – and by empowering and supporting a wide array of non-profit organizations within the Israeli-American community.
