Conference Week is a Go!

Hello Fourth Grade Families!
It was wonderful seeing many of you yesterday at conferences and talking to you about our amazing students. For those of you we didn’t see then, we’re looking forward to meeting with you on Monday! Thank you also to everyone who bought books for the classroom at the book fair!
Even besides conferences, our week at school was very busy. Fourth graders had a great role at Tuesday’s Hannah Senesh Yartzeit Tekes and showed off their beautiful timeline posters to the school. Our fourth grade volunteer speakers did an excellent job memorizing and performing their lines, and the mood was respectful and uplifting all at once.
Now that the temperature has dropped from seemingly early September to late December overnight, we would like to remind parents to send their children to school dressed in layers. Recess is still outside every day unless it is raining, so gloves, hats, and scarves are a must!
Starting today, school on Fridays ends one hour earlier, at 1:30 pm, and will continue to do until late February. Please make a note of this change.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you about the upcoming Fourth Grade Living Museum on Monday, November 20th. This is the occasion wherein fourth graders get to show off their projects, knowledge, and learning to families. Please mark your calendars, and we hope to see you there on November 20th!
