Spring is Here!

Hello Fourth Grade Families! It was great seeing everyone at Purim Megilla Reading and Parent Teacher Conferences! Over the past two weeks, we have all experienced a great deal… celebrating a joyous holiday, a hopefully joyous snow day, and meeting for conferences. Hello Fourth Grade Families! What an amazing time we had today during our Chag Purim celebration! We read the megilla, had our costume parade, enjoyed the carnival, and exchanged Mishloach Manot with our K Buddies. March into Spring!

Hello Fourth Grade Families! It’s finally March! The days are getting longer and the lives of fourth graders just keep getting busier! Fourth graders are now regularly reading Torah on Mondays and Thursdays, and we’ve just finished up another successful Read-a-Thon! A reminder to parents that Read-a-Thon pledges are due next week. This week, we embarked on an informative trip to Plymouth Church, which is said to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad, we showed off our performance skills in the annual Talent Show, and we read more than ever in preparation for the 2017 Read-a-Thon! Hello Grade Families! We hope that everyone enjoyed the rare and sudden snow day this week! Please be advised that even in cold temperatures, recess at Hannah Senesh is outdoors, so please send your child to school with hat, gloves, and scarf, and dressed in layers. Hello Fourth Grade Families! We hope that you have had a great first few days of February. We have had a wonderful week at school, including our fun field trip in the snow to the Old Stone House in Park Slope on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who chaperoned! A Non-Winter Weather Week

Hello Fourth Grade Families! This week, the weather was on and off again, but the fourth grade is learning full steam! We have been getting ready for Torah reading by learning the new sounds of trope, and also gearing up to take our field trip to the Old Stone House next week. A Short Winter Week
